8th INGEO International Conference on Engineering Surveying & 4th SIG Symposium on Engineering Geodesy will be held in hotel Palace, Dubrovnik CROATIA, from April 1-4, 2020.

First announcement.

Dubrovnik has been selected as a location of joint conference since Dubrovnik area is very interesting for the field of engineering geodesy. Two very large and interesting projects have been and are performing in the Dubrovnik at the moment; the monitoring project of the vertical displacements of the Old City of Dubrovnik for the last 35 years – since Dubrovnik is located on a seismically active area, and construction of Pelješac Bridge which is currently the largest infrastructure project in Croatia.

This conference is organized by Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Surveying, Croatian Geodetic Society and University of Zagreb, Faculty of Geodesy with close cooperation and supporting of FIG Commission 6. the conference covers the main topics of this commission and their Working Groups.
